During normal use, a lawn mower blade is subjected to many materials (grass, weeds, dirt, etc...) and sometimes some not so friendly materials (rocks, stick, stumps, etc...). A lawn mower blade is slowly worn down, dulled, and even dented or cracked. These imperfections can cause a rough cut on the yard and vibrations from being out of balance. Inspect the blade frequently and sharpen and balance your blade to maintain a nice cut and balanced rotation. The following videos include some clips on sharpening and balancing a blade.
